File Storage

The File Storage module allows you to view the documents that you have previously exported. To find your documents, select the root of your hierarchy (also known as your database), and then select Generated Documents.

You can select the Download button on any of the previously exported documents to re-download them to your device. You can also delete any previous entries into the generated documents.

Note

If configured to do so, you will also be able to setup the ability for all users apart of the same domain to access all documents that have been initiated to export.

The process of exporting and downloading documents is also demonstrated in the video tutorial below:

File Storage - DMS Config

Orien's Document Management System can be configured at the Database Level. At this level, files can be uploaded, Folders can be added and edited, and all available Files can be downloaded. Changes at to the file, updates all uses of the file throughout the hierarchy - like a reference.

Folders can be added and named to match the site or project's requirements. These Folders can also have a Max Limit applied (only a set number of files of this type can be allocated) or a folder set as Mandatory (a warning is shown if this is missing) - these settings are optional. Once the Folders have been defined, they will appear in the Hierarchy.
