'Add materials' mandatory field locations

Can the mandatory ‘Cost’ field be moved to the top of the pop-up under the Description field which is also a mandatory field.  The Cost field is easily missed in its current location.

It would also be helpful if mandatory fields went red straight away – currently you have to click in the field for it to go red.
